We aim to satisfy our power requirements through our own captive power plant. We are in the process of setting up a 36 MW Coal and Lignite based power plant. Lignite will be sourced locally from Gujarat while we have the option of using Imported or Indian coal. This project will be commissioned by the end of the year and will lead to a substantial reduction in our power costs.

Additional Considerations
We are even looking at ways of producing green energy. For this, we are considering proposals for setting up a ‘Waste Heat Recovery Boiler' in our Sponge Iron Plant and setting up Wind towers for harnessing Wind Potential.
